The different-sized and different-coloured rectangles and squares allow students to explore and touch concrete concepts related to integers, equations, ratios, and algebraic expressions. Sets consist of two different colours to represent both positive and negative terms. Class sets contain 15 “x” sets (43 pieces each) and 15 “y” sets (25 pieces each), plus 15 Alge-Tiles Student Organizers and a 130-page teacher's blackline resource binder, all in a storage tub. Grades 6-12.
