Bubbles, bubbles on the breeze!

Bubbles enchant bubble blowers of all ages! That’s clear from the wide-eyed amazement and delighted laughter of children and adults alike as they watch their iridescent creations take flight. Blowing bubbles is an ideal activity for all age groups, even tiny tots. Using nothing more than a straw and a container of soap bubble liquid, you’re all set to blow a cascade of beautiful bubbles.

Besides being just plain fun, blowing bubbles is a good way to practise breath control. The key to success is to blow gently into the bubble ring, or move your arm slowly. If you blow too hard or move too fast, it won’t work!

Some bubbles start out perfectly round, others are more elliptical. Sometimes you get just one bubble, sometimes you get a whole bunch. Sometimes they burst right away, sometimes they drift for awhile before they implode. You can count them, compare sizes, watch them float around, chase them, try to catch them … (Bonus: now you’re using your math and gross motor skills!)

This popular outdoor summer activity is also fun to do indoors, in the bathtub!

Blowing bubbles is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser. Large bubbles or small, many or few, the magic is the same!
